You know those Instagram screenshots that supposedly show the Florida school shooter wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat? The account was real, created after the shooting, but the person in it wasn’t actually Nicholas Cruz.
It’s been a terrible day for the Democrat Party. Not only was the shooter a registered Democrat who came to the United States illegally as a child (a DREAMER as liberals call them) and a member of Antifa who supports ISIS, but remember this suspiciously blurry photo?
There’s a reason it’s blurry and this dude’s face is covered. It’s not Photoshopped. But the photo is fake. The man in it is not Cruz, but instead is 23-year-old Martin Schumer of Reeves, Delaware.
Schumer? Schumer? Where have we heard that name before? Oh. Yes. That’s right — anti-Trump Democrat Chuck Schumer. The shooter arrived at the school at 2:19 p.m. The Instagram account was created “between three and four P.M.” according to Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft. The account then disappeared by 4:20 p.m. and the “information” from it was quickly shuffled to the fake news media, who passed it off as gospel.
Unfortunately for the young Schumer, his decision to brag to several classmates also made it to the media — The Blaze, to be exact:
The man in the photo was actually Charles Schumer’s grandson, Martin Schumer, who told friends he “thought it would be funny” to make people think the shooter was a Trump supporter. He expected to fool a few people but managed to trick the entire country.
The account was deleted by Schumer after he decided the sick joke had gone too far.
In addition to all these black eyes for the mainstream media, a white supremacist leader managed to trick liberals into believing Cruz — a Hispanic man — was a member of his militia.
All in all it’s been a terrible day for the country, but an even worse one for liberals as every attempt to capitalize off this latest shooting, perpetrated by a random man with severe mental health issues, failed.
